ALSA Advanced Linux Sound Architicture is a set of built-in GNU/Linux kernel modules, so manual installation is not necessary.
ALSA is a Software Framework as well as a part of the Linux Kernel.
Udev will automatically detect your hardware and select needed drivers at boot up, so your sound should work from the startup.
